RIP Paul "Felts" FeltonAt 1:09pm on Tuesday July 6 2010, Paul "Felts" Felton passed away peacefully at Armadale Hospital.  He was surrounded by Family, Friends & Music.

Paul was a tremendous friend and inspiration to many people locally and around the world.  He will remain in our hearts and memories as one of our finest treasures - a true and humble leader, a talented and sincerely great man and dear friend to all.  Paul's presence will be sorely missed. (RIP, brother to us all.)

Felts joins the guitar greats who have gone before him, perhaps to play a raging rendition of "All Along The Watchtower" at the greatest gig in the sky.

Fittingly, there will be a celebration to honour Paul Felton's life at 'JETS:  A Reason To Rock'.
We will see you all there.  "May the force be with you".

Saddness to hear the news, even from this side of the country(NSW).I remeber seeing and meeting Paul at a Sitting Bull gig at fremantle oval to many years ago and was .like many others around Attadale/Bicton being inspired. And as the years went on paul was always the same old Paul, always with a hello and a hand shake and a chat, no matter where or when...A great guitar player, but most important a nice bloke who always had time for anyone, no matter there status in lfe....guitar player, fan, road crew, or just us normal folks.....have many wondrful memories of times at the fortesque "house in Leeming....the pool table and the Dickle ....and the crazy Paul way of of playing cricket.......long may he be remebered....from me always will be ...a great bloke who shaped much of what WA music is........all thoughts are to family and friends back in Perth...i bet it was a wake to remember...

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Paul. I first met him when I was 16 working at Kosmic Sound and he became good friend and musical influence. The Perth guitar community has its share world class guitarists and Paul was right up there with the best of them. I'm sure he's somewhere up there with his old black Les Paul cranking out Rocky Mountain Way.

We'll miss you mate, Bill.

Regarding the service.
A message from Brett Lyons that summed things up beautifully: --

Wonderful send off for PAUL FELTON yesterday. Good Service followed by excellent time at Southern River Tavern. So much talent in one place, everybody played with great spirit. So many wonderful people in a small tight knit industry with gifted energy. Thank You. R.I.P.

Dear Paul, I have been tired of how when people pass from this Earth they are immortalized as "Angels" or good boys with a problem etc.... But are always good when they pass away ....
Not You, i believe that you certainly retained a lot of Good, and a fraction of "Bad"as is a pre requisite for any Rock & Roll Dude ...
Not too far behind you Paul, none of us are !!!!

Paul....I hope the goodbye today went cool. I would have loved to have been able to be there and, somehow, present you with the bottle of scotch I owed you for so long....

This so very tragic. I do not know what to say....

Dennis.
