Following their tradition of presenting the best of WA guitar, Guitar Gods will be staging the fifth concert in the “Guitar Gods Behaving Badly” series at the Fly By Night Concert Club in Fremantle on Friday, June 29th 2012.

Guitar Gods V – 3 Kings and A Queen, introduces a stellar line-up of rock royalty to knock the socks off the most discerning concertgoer, and is an event not to be missed.

The man behind the legendary Ice Tiger, Graham Greene will be opening proceedings with his instrumental power trio, playing tracks from his solo albums Club Voodoo and Leap Of Face. Those who know Graham will be expecting the pyrotechnic guitar wizardry for which he has received national and international acclaim.

Graham will then be joined by Guitar Goddess Annemieke (of Talon and Siren fame) for a set by Adelaide–based US expat Jac Dalton. The 7 piece Jac Dalton Band features all WA musicians who will be playing tracks from the Melodic Rock album, Icarus. The twin guitar attack of Annemieke and Graham guarantees guitar fireworks aplenty.

A true icon of the metal and power rock scenes, Jamie Page will be taking the stage with his band, BLACK X (with Matt Williams on vocals), to slay the masses with his mastery of the instrument. Fans of Trilogy and Black Steel will know and love some of the songs featured in his set and will be treated to new material from Project X.  The rest will receive a lesson in the metal alchemy for which Jamie is revered.

John Meyer is an absolute legend of Australian rock and blues, having played in such bands as Rose Tattoo, Saracen, Matt Taylor and Fatty Lumpkin. Meyer influenced a generation of Oz guitarists with his playing and compositions, and will be presenting old and new material with a new band featuring the awesome vocal talents of Craig Pinkney.

These Guitar Gods will be unleashing the same dynamic power and entertainment value witnessed at the 2009 MIRC Concert held at Metropolis Concert Club.  It has been a long time since Perth has seen a guitar show of this magnitude. John, Jamie, Graham and Annemieke are at the top of their respective games, and the Fly By Night Club is set to be rocked big time by four guitar legends as they provide an insight into the depth of talent that has emerged from WA over the years. It bears repeating that this is one concert that is definitely NOT TO BE MISSED!
