Emanuel Rudnicki

Being inspired by the playing of David Gilmour and Jimmy Page, Emanuel Rudnicki traded the 'tennis racquet air guitar' in for a real guitar at age 14.
After hearing bands like Metallica and the Scorpions, he realised that there was a world of underground heavy music to be inspired by.  He quickly fell in love with the European metal scene, not only guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen and Michael Schenker, but also by the blistering music of Euro-metal bands like Halloween, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian and Symphony X.

Straight out of high school, like most young musicians, Emanuel played in a cover band which later began performing its own original, heavy metal material under the name of The Tempest. He also featured as a future member of Dead Letter Circus.

In 1999, Emanuel joined a group of Perth locals (Voyager) teaming up with another Perth guitar hero, Mark De Vattimo, to produce one of Perth's most formidable guitar duos in the metal scene.

During his time in Voyager, Emanuel also joined Black Steel, which consisted of some of Perth's best players including Damien Petrilli on drums and Dave Harrison on bass, where he would become the self-proclaimed "unworthy replacement" for outgoing guitar legend, Jamie Page.

In 2010, after a 2 year hiatus from live playing, Emanuel invited some of his favourite local players to join him and formed his melodic heavy music 'supergroup', Evolution Machine. In this band Emanuel fuses the guitar with electro/industrial sounds and female vocals, while still incorporating the heavy and melodic sounds he has always loved.
