Sound The Siren Rock Fo MS

A message of support from Little Pattie

6 August 2013: “Shortly after Chrissy’s passing, Donna Greene, lead singer of Perth band Siren (billed as The Ultimate Divinyls Tribute) paid tribute to Chrissy with a special show in Perth. Donna performed the show whilst suffering fatigue, pain and impaired vision, and in an ironic twist has now been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) herself! Donna is now even more determined to raise money for the MS Society so please support her by liking her page & if you live in Perth, by going along to any future SIREN – Divinyls Show shows in Perth!”

You can support Donna and the show by Liking the Siren page on facebook (SirenDivinylsShow), and purchasing tickets to the show to be held at The Charles Hotel, Friday November 22 2013

Did you know?  Relapsing/Remitting is the most common form of MS and is usually diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50.
MS is a disease of the central nervous system which results in damage to myelin — a protective sheath surrounding the nerve fibres. When myelin is damaged this interferes with messages between the brain and other parts of the body. The symptoms of MS are different for each person. For some people, MS is characterised by periods of relapse and remission while for others it has a progressive pattern. For everyone it makes life unpredictable.

It is estimated that over 23,000 people in Australia have MS. An additional 1,000 Australians are diagnosed with MS every year, equating to approximately four people every working day. 2.5 million people are living with MS worldwide. 16 people per month are diagnosed in Western Australia. While there are some treatments available to help to prevent the progression of MS, there is no known cure. Researchers are constantly working to find a cure. Guitar Gods supporting

Guitar Gods are fully behind the Sound The Siren – Rock For MS – Siren Divinyls Show being held at the Charles Hotel featuring my wife, Donna Greene. As well as being a widely respected musician in her own right, Donna is the talent behind the web presence of Guitar Gods WA and other noteable artists and causes. We completely support Donna as she faces her own battle with MS, and hope you will make it to the Charles on Friday November 22nd to join us as we rock for a cure! We have it on good authority that Bob De Wolff is mixing.

Peace, Graham Greene
